Inter BEE 2026

Meet KLIPPEL and Warkwyn Japan at Inter BEE 2026, booth 2001

Our Japanese distributor Warkwyn Japan exhibits at Inter BEE 2026 from November 18 to 20, 2026 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Japan. Inter BEE is a trade show for professional audio, video, broadcasting, communication and lighting, and admission is free with pre-registration. At booth 2001, the Warkwyn Japan team shows two KLIPPEL demonstrations. Two heads of KLIPPEL product groups will be at the booth as well, so questions can go into technical detail.

What to see at booth 2001

KLIPPEL Controlled Sound (KCS)

Loudspeakers are highly nonlinear and time-variant systems. Signal distortion, operational instability, heating, aging, manufacturing imperfections, risk of failure, climate and other external influences have always limited the maximum output and quality of reproduced sound. The KCS algorithm tackles all these obstacles at once, actively improving loudspeakers at their weakest points.

Its unique adaptive feed-forward nonlinear control system provides linear, protected, and stabilized performance up to the highest input levels over the entire operating range and lifetime. The result is

  • More sound pressure output
  • Active protection against overload
  • Cancellation of nonlinear distortion
  • Desired linear target performance
  • Copes with aging, climate, production variance
  • Lowers cost, weight and size
  • Enables previously impossible designs

Comprehensive, portable testing of audio systems

KLIPPEL R&D and QC solutions cover the path from the root cause of distortion to the objective check of every unit.
Our demonstration shows what a KLIPPEL test setup covers, from the development lab to the field.

  • Identify root causes of distortion and production defects
  • Nonlinear analysis across acoustic, mechanical, electrical and thermal domains
  • Advanced R&D tools for transducer and system development
  • High-speed QC solutions for production lines
  • Portable quality assurance of rental and installed audio systems

Portable testing with a small footprint

All it takes is a laptop with the QC Stand-alone software, a hand-held microphone and a Dante smart amplifier with voltage and current sensing. This setup tests speakers of any size, from consumer audio gear to larger PA systems, and finds defects such as transducer and cross over problems, abnormal noise and dropouts. Single-value results and smart limits give a clear PASS or FAIL and a quality grade. Relative metrics keep the results less dependent on microphone placement and ambient noise. After the initial setup by an engineer, any staff member can run the test. When a unit fails, a hand-held microphone and hearing-protection headphones let the operator listen to the isolated distortion.

Going deeper with the QC modules

The KLIPPEL QC System offers optional modules that go further. Air Leak Detection (ALD) isolates the pulsating flow noise of leaks in drivers, enclosures and ports and also reveals rubbing, buzzing and loose particles, without extra test time in a sweep test. Motor + Suspension Check (MSC) measures voice coil offset in mm and stiffness asymmetry in % within a few seconds. It needs only voltage and current, so no microphone or laser is required. Our team is happy to explain these modules at the booth.

From the lab to the line

Parameters such as voice coil offset can vary in production, so they should be optimized in the design and checked in manufacturing. KLIPPEL links both sides. The R&D System identifies large signal parameters in detail, for example the nonlinear force factor Bl(x) and stiffness Kms(x), and the results of reference speakers help to set up the end-of-line test witha unique motor and suspension end of line check. Both follow IEC 62458. On the R&D side, the system also offers fast and accurate linear and nonlinear parameters, a meaningful SPLmax measured with multi-tone, equivalent input harmonic distortion and room correction with in-situ compensation.

Bring a question about distortion, defects or test time to booth 2001, and Dr. Stefan Irrgang, Head of T&M development at KLIPPEL and the Warkwyn Japan team will be glad to discuss it with you.
