POL模块可在自由场条件下以极坐标φ、θ和r全自动测量球形表面上的声压。测量距离r应当大于设备的最大尺寸d(r>>d)和最长的波长(r>>λ),以测量远场的方向性。



Upcoming Hardware

In 2023, Klippel will release a Polar Scanner for a fast, fully automatic 360° directivity measurement. It extends the product range of its existing scanner solutions (Near Field Scanner and Multi-Scanning Workbench) to new applications, such as microphones, portable audio sources, or combinations of both (e.g., smart speaker). By rotating the device under test (DUT) with two turntables the Polar Scanner can measure all kinds of microphones, including studio, test and measurement, MEMS, arrays, headsets, and wearables as well as a small loudspeaker (<10kg), such as studio monitors, smart speakers, and other personal audio devices. Furthermore, smart devices can be comprehensively tested by measuring both the receiving characteristics of the microphone and the radiation behavior of the loudspeakers.
