How do you ensure consistent audio quality in rental audio equipment and how can you identify defective speakers in installed audio-over-IP audio systems? Objective testing is inevitable. But how to deal with varying acoustic conditions if there is no trained personnel and only a small budget? In our booth, we demonstrate how KLIPPEL solves those challenges for full-featured speaker testing with a small footprint. It only takes as much as the QC Stand-alone software, a hand-held microphone and a Dante smart amplifier with voltage/current sensing.

A completely new approach to long-term testing, the KLIPPEL Endurance Testing (KET), was published at the beginning of 2023. It is an easy-to-use, multi-channel, long-term, power and accelerated life test solution for typical quality assurance (QA) applications such as validation checks or type approvals. 32 DUTs can be measured using one PC and a virtual soundcard. Dante® technology is used for streaming data via a (wired) network connection. For each device under test, the test procedure can be started, paused, and terminated, independently.

The KLIPPEL Multi-Scanning Workbench brings the near-field holographic sound field scanning technology to a much smaller form factor. A gap has been filled for acoustic spatial measurements using a smaller form factor than the well-known, large KLIPPEL Near-Field Scanning System (NFS). It is an automated acoustic scanner with the full spatial characteristics of sound sources by holography. The typical test time starts from as low as 5 minutes when assuming rotational symmetry. A full scan without any symmetry assumptions takes about 1 hour.
