KLIPPEL User Training
Join us for a 2-day KLIPPEL User Training in Dresden, Germany on October 21st - 22nd, 2024 to advance your knowledge in the field of the KLIPPEL Analyzer System.
This training will teach you how to use the Klippel Analyzer System effectively in your daily work. Limited seats are available each day, so you can choose to sign up for one or both days. Don't miss out on this opportunity!
Our user training program is designed to cater to individuals with varying levels of experience. Regardless of whether you're new to KLIPPEL or an experienced user, you'll find the seminar's content valuable. Our goal is to ensure that all participants can comprehend and efficiently conduct electroacoustic measurements on KLIPPEL measurement equipment. Additionally, our team of experienced Klippel support and development engineers will provide an in-depth overview of the Klippel product landscape along with comprehensive background information.
General Information
- Date: October 21-22, 2024
- Location: Dresden, Germany
- Duration: 9 am – 5 pm (both days)
- Language: English or German
- Presented by KLIPPEL Support and Development Engineers
Content of the User Training
Divided into two parts for R&D and QC measurement applications each day will focus on the basics, target applications as well as tips and tricks, which are useful for the daily work with dB-Lab and respective KLIPPEL tools.
User Training for R&D System – October 21st, 2024
On this day we will discuss the key topics:
- How can I measure the 3D sound field of my speaker
(within less than 15min)? - How to measure distortion and predict max SPL
(according to IEC 60268-21 and -23)?
and focus further on the detailed topics:
- Linear Signal Domain (LPM):
We want to start with the basics: How to ensure that the KLIPPEL system is set up well? For checking this, nothing is better suited than a linear parameter measurement. You will get some useful tips for ensuring good and repeatable measurement conditions.
- 3D-Sound (Workbench):
Is it possible to measure the whole 3D sound field within 15 minutes?
Yes, it is. We will learn how to do this and how KLIPPEL’s patented room separation approach allows us to perform this measurement in a normal office room.
- Output-based measurements (MTON, TRF-Pro, DIS):
The new IEC 60268-21 and -23 provide meaningful guidance on how to measure distortion and max SPL. We will show, how to use the KLIPPEL tools to apply this standard in a quick measurement procedure. By doing this we will measure THD, intermodulation distortion and rub&buzz.
- Tips and tricks for the daily work (LSI3):
It is not possible to give a KLIPPEL RnD workshop without showing an LSI measurement. After giving a quick presentation of the LSI, we will mainly focus on tips and tricks, which are useful for daily work with dB-Lab and KLIPPEL tools.
User Training for QC System – October 22nd, 2024
On this day we will discuss the key topics:
- Basic user training (QC Engineer)
- Testing consistent product quality with a focus on Max SPL in end-of-line testing
and focus further on the detailed topics:
- Introduction to the QC System
We want to start with an introduction to the KLIPPEL QC System addressing the various target applications, the key objectives in quality control as well as an overview of the different versions and features of the QC Software.
- Fundamental Testing with QC Standard and QC Stand-alone
Learn the basics of the QC System, including fundamental concepts and operations for engineers and operators. Discover hardware setup for different device types, test sequencing based on templates, and important result parameters
- Testing Data Sheet Compliance and max SPL
How to transfer target performance requirements from R&D to the production line and set up comprehensive test sequences for testing data sheet compliance, in particular max SPL? We will address methods for effective and robust defect and distortion testing at maximum output under non-ideal test conditions as well as smart metrics and limit setting.
- Integration, Traceability and Process Control
The last part of the training will cover how to integrate the QC System in your production process, how to handle traceability of metadata, setup changes and results and how to use built-in tools for process control and analysis like statistics, process capability indexes and control rules.
