Remote Configuration provides a login to each measurement without the need of the hardware unit (PA). It allows the modification of the limits and of the measurement setup via a network. It eases the correction of limits due to (temporary) changes of the production. These changes can easily be authorized by the customer when sharing the modified data files (databases). It is also possible to modify the graphical appearance of the QC desktop for the operator and for the QC engineer.
Remote access to the production site computer or online supervision can be realized by the standard software (VPN, remote access, Skype, Teamviewer etc). Such software is not part of the Remote Configuration.
